FOX 61: For the Bad Guys, This is Bad News

February 19, 2018

Rocky Hill, CT Alarm New England founder Doug Curtiss hosted FOX 61's Jim Alpert at our Connecticut headquarters to talk about the latest trends in residential security services.

New video technologies are allowing home alarm monitoring companies, citizens, and the police to work together like never before to catch the bad guys.

"For the bad guys, this is bad news," Curtiss said, noting that smartphone integration with homeowners' security system through a Skybell HD Video Doorbell enables them to both see and speak to someone on their front porch. "Someone comes to your house and whether you are home or away, you know they are there."
